FromCounsel counts over 85% of the top 100 corporate law firms including the Magic Circle, most of the leading US firms practising in the UK and the legal departments of the Big Four accounting firms as clients.

FromCounsel is now expanding into other areas, including litigation and disputes, employment and R&I.

The opportunity

This is an unrivalled opportunity for exceptional candidates to join a market-leading legal tech business during an exciting period of expansion. We are looking for fee earners and knowledge lawyers with expertise in litigation and disputes, employment, R&I or corporate law, to contribute to the development of our new services and the further expansion of our corporate service. Flexible secondments are available, both short and longer-term, on either a full- or part-time basis.

The work will be intellectually challenging, requiring a deep dive into the fine details of the law. It provides an excellent chance to up-skill in your chosen area to the highest standard, which you can then apply to your own practice.

The role

The specifics of each secondment will depend on the practical arrangements and the area of law, but the work will usually include:

• Scoping, writing and/or reviewing top quality content, consistently applying FromCounsel’s unique approach and style

• Developing the service with new topics, precedents, legislation, practical resources and news commentary/analysis

• Working in close collaboration with barristers, our talented team of experienced in-house knowledge lawyers, editors and other external experts and specialists
