Content Marketing Lead
As the first Content Marketing Lead for FromCounsel, you will be responsible for developing and executing content strategies that drive brand awareness, engagement and lead generation across our growing product set. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to create impactful content that resonates with our target audience and aligns with our business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Content Strategy Development:
- Create, implement and manage the overall content marketing strategy across all channels (blog, social media, email, website, etc.).
- Conduct market research and audience analysis to inform content creation and distribution.
- Define content themes, timelines and key performance indicators (KPIs) for content effectiveness.
2. Content Creation and Management:
- Lead the development of high-quality, engaging, and SEO-optimised content (e.g., blog posts, articles, videos, infographics, case studies, whitepapers, etc.).
- Oversee content production from concept to final publication, ensuring brand voice consistency.
- Collaborate with product and sales teams to produce compelling visual and written content.
3. Content Distribution and Promotion:
- Execute and manage content distribution strategies across owned, earned and paid channels.
- Promote content and increase organic reach and engagement.
- Leverage SEO, paid search, email campaigns and influencer partnerships to drive content performance.
4. Performance Monitoring and Analytics:
- Analyse content performance using tools like Google Analytics, SEMrush and social media insights.
- Track KPIs, including traffic, engagement, lead generation and conversion metrics.
- Optimise content strategies based on data-driven insights to improve performance over time.
5. Collaboration and Stakeholder Management:
- Work closely with the sales, product and customer success teams to create content that supports lead generation, customer education and retention.
- Manage relationships with external agencies, freelancers or influencers as needed for content creation and promotion.
- Present content performance reports and strategies to senior leadership.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in content marketing, digital marketing, or a related field.
- Proven ability to create compelling content across multiple formats (written, visual, video, etc.).
- Strong knowledge of SEO best practices and content marketing strategies.
- Proficiency with analytics tools (Google Analytics, SEMrush, HubSpot, etc.) and content management systems (WordPress, etc.).
- Excellent communication, writing, and editing skills with attention to detail.
- Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Creative thinker with a data-driven mindset.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of the legal industry preferred.
- Experience with content automation tools and email marketing platforms.
- Familiarity with design tools (Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, etc.) or video editing software.
- Understanding of lead generation tactics and demand generation strategies.
