Senior Project Manager
Legal Knowledge Service Build and LaunchFromCounsel, the leading online legal intelligence service for law firms and in-house lawyers, is looking for a Senior Project Manager to manage the creation and launch of our new Commercial Tax offering and support other product launches as we accelerate our product development.
Since its launch in 2017, FromCounsel has developed a reputation for offering an unmatched premium knowledge service to corporate lawyers and has over 90% of the top 100 UK law firms as customers. We partner with leading Chambers to develop our unique set of content. We are also working with leading platforms on the cutting edge of AI to leverage the true potential of our data. Our aim is to make our content more comprehensive, more insightful, and more accessible than anyone else in the market.
We are launching a Restructuring and Insolvency knowledge service in early 2026 and a key launch after that will be a Commercial Tax knowledge service. We are now looking for a Senior Project Manager to work on the product build and market launch. This is a new role and we hope will establish the blueprint for a successful launch working with the senior From Counsel PSL team and our partner Chambers. We are therefore looking for someone who is keen to build for the future and play a major role in the successful growth of From Counsel. And who has the credibility and presence to deal with senior barristers and our customers.
Working with the CEO and the wider content leadership team, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and delivering this key project for the launch of our Commercial Tax offering working with the internal and external contributors, and our editorial and tech teams. You’ll serve as the connective tissue between internal stakeholders and external partners, ensuring alignment, timely delivery, and high-quality outcomes within the fast-paced legal tech environment. You will also be involved in shaping our other launches and supporting projects around the business.
Key Responsibilities:

Project Planning & Execution: Develop project scope, objectives, timelines, and resource plans in alignment with company goals and content agreement with Chambers.

Cross-functional Coordination: Collaborate with legal experts, developers, designers, business stakeholders and customers to define requirements, manage risks and ensure timely delivery.

Communication & Reporting: Provide regular project updates, dashboards, and status reports to leadership, Chambers and stakeholders.

Quality Assurance: Work with the From Counsel content and editorial teams to ensure the content is of the highest standard and with sufficient depth. And work with the technology team to coordinate user acceptance testing and ensure deliverables meet legal and technical standards.

Process Improvement: Identify inefficiencies in workflows and help implement scalable systems and processes.

Market launch: lead market engagement initiatives through service build period and work closely with Marketing, Sales and content team to ensure successful launch.
Qualifications:

3–5 years of project management experience, preferably in a legal tech, SaaS, or highly regulated environment.

Proven track record of managing cross-functional projects from inception to delivery.

Excellent communication, organisational and stakeholder management skills.

Ability to adapt in a dynamic, fast-paced start-up environment.

Familiarity with the legal market and building expert content sets a real advantage.
